About Our Program

Are you looking for a baseball program with a proven staff with over 100 plus years combined coaching experience?

Where else can you get a former Professional Pitcher/Athlete along with a Hall of Fame Coach, USA Today Coach of the Year, a Physical Therapist Assistant and other experienced coaches who have played at the Division I and II levels of College Baseball with experience coaching youth sports on the same staff?

Well, at Technique Tigers Future Stars Baseball Academy our staff is proven; no hyped up bios to get your attention. Our staff puts in immeasurable amounts of hours to make our baseball program the best possible experience for your child. At Technique we don’t just say “we are in it for the kids,” it’s a proven behavior that all of our staff members display. We make sure to go the extra mile to better your child in the sport we all love… BASEBALL! At Technique, we also use the sport of Baseball as a tool to guide our athletes on the right path to being successful, productive, and responsible young men in life.

Something we love is that Technique Tigers Future Stars Baseball Academy brings together children from all over Fairfield and New Haven Counties, who are of different ethnic backgrounds, and various economic upbringings. At Technique we also love to persistently look for innovative ways to train and care for our athletes. Our staff has a broad range of qualifications to better serve today’s athlete. Technique has the luxury of a Physical Therapist, a Professional in the Human Performance Field, a Lawyer, an Advanced-Certified Personal Trainer, long-time Educators from private schools and public, Social Workers, Administrators, Politicians, Salesmen, Marketers, Labor Workers, etc… working together to provide your child with the experience of a lifetime, an experience that he can carry on and take with him/her the values, lessons, and friendships that will have a lasting impression on everyone’s life.

The passion our staff displays on a daily basis is apparent by the number of hours that our staff puts in, as days off come very seldom. We preach that HARD WORK BEATS TALENT WHEN TALENT DOES NOT WORK HARD and we lead by example to gain the trust of our youth. Our youth today are growing up in a world of instantaneous change and on-the-spot gratification. At Technique, we make sure that our athletes understand that the process of becoming a successful athlete is something that takes time and effort, not something that comes and falls on your lap. At Technique we are honest with parents about the progress of all of our members and their abilities; this is why in 2008 Technique Tigers/Future Stars Baseball Academy consisted of 175 members and a combined total of 17 TEAMS!!!!

You have come to the right place if you want your child to be in an environment where he is going to be treated fairly. We are all aware of the so called “politics” that goes on in youth sports, and If you look around our website and see the smiles on the kids faces and looks of focus and determination, it’s a testament of what our program represents. Technique offers a family atmosphere where your child can receive real professional instruction. Remember, anyone can read a book or watch a DVD and then attempt to teach that, but at Technique, we have a unique way of teaching, training and preparing our athletes—Real Life Experience and Knowledge!

Now ask yourself, is this the type of environment I want my child to be a part of daily? Do I want to deal with honest people? Am I going to get the most for my money? If you are new to Technique and still need more convincing, it’s ok, just follow us on Twitter and Facebook to see more proof of our constant progress.

Finally, like always, THANK YOU for your interest in our program. Hopefully we can meet someday to make your child the next FUTURE STAR on and off the field!

Technique Tigers Future Stars Travel Baseball program

In the 2008 Spring season Technique Tigers expanded its travel baseball program to 6 teams competing at the 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U, and 18U level. The Technique Tigers provide practice every day of the week when players are not competing in games. Stressing our main focus, which is practice, assures that players are going to develop the skills they need to be successful at the immediate next level, high school. The Technique Tigers provide a 35 game schedule for 12U and 11U, while providing 45-55 game schedules for 13U, 14U, 18U teams. Three to four tournaments are included in the schedule so players can experience playing against players from all around the Northeast United States. The Tigers have built a strong relationship with the Bonnies and Youth Service League out of Brooklyn, NY.

The Tiger program takes pride in preparation; therefore our staff spends countless hours teaching the fundamentals and techniques that go into making players successful at a game of failure. Our Technique Sports Training Staff takes pride in our conditioning program as this is a very important component to the success that our players see on the field. Discipline and hard work is necessary to be a good baseball player and at Technique, players understand that the discipline, commitment, and hard work they put into athletics is going to carry over into everyday life and develop them into able adults, giving them confidence to accomplish anything they set their mind to. Life lessons are learned on a daily basis with the Tigers; all players are aware of the founding rules of the Tiger program. Players must LISTEN, always give EFFORT, and continue to RESPECT the game of baseball, their teammates, and opponents.

HARD WORK BEATS TALENT, WHEN TALENT DOES NOT WORK HARD.
