We believe that "HARD WORK BEATS TALENT WHEN TALENT DOESN’T WORK HARD".  And we practice what we preach.  Our coaches go the extra mile, working long hours, to make every participant the best baseball player he can be, utilizing both innovative techniques and good old-fashioned hard work.  Players will learn that becoming a successful athlete takes time and effort, and our coaches will provide you with honest assessments of your child’s abilities and progress along the way.

Diversity is a hallmark of the Tigers community.  Our staff and advisory group comes with a wide range of qualifications, and from many professions, including physical therapy, personal training, law, teaching, social work, sales and labor. Those diverse backgrounds come into play as the staff guides children who come from different ethnic groups and economic circumstances. Given the staff’s commitment to the Tigers community, you won’t see the rotating cast of coaches you might in other programs.  The same Tigers coaches will continue to work with these young athletes season after season, helping them grow into accomplished baseball players and confident young men.

The Tiger philosophy begins at the Academy, where our youngest members ages 7-12 develop their skills and learn that working hard and reaching your goals is fun and rewarding.  It continues with the Tiger Travel Baseball Program where our competitive teams continue to hone their baseball skills and compete with the best in the Northeast.

In 2007, the Technique Tigers joined forces with the Future Stars Sports Academy and its Future Stars Children’s Foundation to better promote the goal of both organizations to groom better athletes but more importantly to develop better well rounded citizens.  

In 2010, the Technique Tigers Academy and Travel Programs consisted of over 200 members and a total of 19 teams.  If you would like your child to receive instruction in the atmosphere of a caring community, to be treated fairly without any of the politics so often present in youth sports, and to benefit from the expertise and experience of proven professionals – please consider joining us in 2011!
