Technique Future Stars Baseball Academy

one team

The Technique Future Stars Baseball Academy was created as a developmental program for players 7-12. This program has developed into the feeder program for our travel teams. Over the years, we have provided instruction to 120 players from all towns surrounding the Greater Bridgeport area.  We not only teach the fundamentals of baseball, but also offer lessons on self-discipline, teamwork and respect.  Coaches give guidance on the field during games so that they offer a greater level of teaching to player, providing support and correcting mistakes as they occur. All players practice twice a week for 2 ½ hours.  At Technique, an athlete's commitment is vital to his/her success.

The Technique Future Stars Baseball Academy consists of a regular season schedule and playoffs.  Games are played on fields where the dimensions are 70' bases and 50' mounds.  At Technique, we teach players how to lead off bases, steal bases off the pitcher in the stretch, pick off moves to each base, and the full dynamics of playing defense with runners stealing bases.  Practice consists of many repetitions and drills to improve fundamentals.  ALL PLAYERS PLAY A MINIMUM OF 3 INNINGS ON DEFENSE AND A MINIMUM OF 2 AT BATS PER GAME!!!
